How To Speed Up Any iPhone

If you’re using an iPhone that is more than a year or so old or if you’ve stored lots of data on your iPhone, you’ll find that over time it becomes more sluggish and harder to get peak performance.

In other words, it’ll start to feel slow!

You’ll know that your iPhone is suffering because many of the functions will become less responsive and apps will take longer to open and run. It’s just not the same as your iPhone was when it was new.

However, regardless of how old your iPhone is, there is plenty that you can do to take steps to speed it up and make it feel almost like new again.

So we’ve come up with this checklist of 12 steps that you can follow to speed up any iPhone – regardless of its age and condition – kind of like a ‘spring clean’ for your iPhone!

This checklist is a downloadable pdf (click here to open it in a new window) that is taken from a full article that looks at all 12 steps in detail.

But, here’s the thing….that full article is on our brand new premium monthly newsletter site, called ‘iExpert News’.

We launched iExpert News very quietly two weeks ago and are letting a small number of people join up at a time to make sure that we offer the service that they are looking for and provide exceptional quality and value.

We started this additional site in response to the answers you gave in our survey earlier this year. 1,000’s of people that responded told us that they wanted a site where they could go to get help and tips and they’d be happy to pay a small subscription to have that help. So, that’s exactly what we’ve built!

This new service aims to provide 6-8 articles of ‘how to’ iPhone, iPad and Mac advice posts written by Apple experts and delivered to members every month. Leading experts create in depth articles to help every iPhone or iPad owner get the most from their device without complicated jargon.

We know that this newsletter is not for all users of iPhones and iPads nor for all the readers and visitors of But, if you want simple but detailed advice on how to get the most out of your Apple device, then iExpert News may well be for you.

As I said, we’re letting in a few people at a time to ensure that we can listen to comments and make sure that the articles we provide are what people want and need help with.

As an example, we added a function yesterday where the members (84 signed up in the ‘secret’ launch last week) can suggest topics for us to cover in future month’s newsletters. That itself was a suggestion from a member and, of course, it makes great sense.

It means that we are creating an online magazine to help out Apple device users, but the members can ask us to cover specific topics – meaning we can give you exactly what you want.

Anyway, this ‘Speed Up Any iPhone’ checklist is a little taster of the kind of things you can learn in iExpert News.

Click the button to get the pdf and try it out and see if it’s the sort of thing that you’d find useful.

If it is, we’re going to open the doors to iExpert News on Monday 19th October at 13:00 GMT for 100 more members to join – with a very special offer.

It won’t be for all those who read this article but it will be a perfect fit for some – those who are new to iPhones and iPads or perhaps just need a little more help getting the most out of their device. If you’re an Apple expert who hangs out on tech websites every day…you won’t need iExpert News!

But for those that want more help, it’s the secret insider sauce that Apple forgot to give you and is for people who don’t get to follow every piece of Apple News every day. We do that and distill it into the monthly newsletter.

While you’re waiting for Monday, do try out the checklist and speed up your iPhone!
