Motorola Now Supports iCloud Transfers

January 23, 2014

Have you ever considered switching to a Moto X, Moto G, Droid Maxx, or Droid Ultra phone, then put yourself off the idea because it would just be too much hassle to transfer all your data over? Then worry not my friends, Motorola is making it easier for us to switch over to their devices.

The Motorola Migrate App has been updated to version 1.2 which supports iCloud transfers. Interestingly it doesn’t install the iCloud app on your iOS device, instead it asks for your iCloud details and pulls the data from there. It makes switching from an Apple device to another so much easier.

The Migrate app comes pre-loaded on many new Motorola devices and allows you to transfer information such as your contacts and calender events from one phone to the other.
