The Apple Watch: The Full Run Down

So That’s Apple Watch 1. What about Apple Watch 2?

We’re only 2 months into the life of apple watch, can we’re just getting the full release, but already there are rumours developing on what he next model may hold.

It is said that the next model will  include a FaceTime camera for video calls, though nothing ios written in stone,we really hope this ends up in the final product. You just couldn’t get more Dick Tracey if you asked. But  the most important thing really to develoe would be an independence of the iPhone.

This could potentially increase sales and also remove the need to be with your phone 24/7.

Mark Gurman from 9to5 mac has stated:

In order to make the next-generation Apple Watch more capable without a connected iPhone, Apple intends to integrate a new and more dynamic wireless chipset into the wearable. Although the Apple Watch 2 will likely continue to require an iPhone for heavy data transfers, including software upgrades and the synchronization of media files, basic communication tasks could be handled without iPhone assistance. The new Wi-Fi chip will also enable the Find my Watch feature we reported on earlier this year, as Apple will be able to track Apple Watches using Wi-Fi router triangulation technology instead of GPS.

This indeed would be a vast improvement to the current model in combination to the new features OS2 supply, but this model will be more than likely available with OS3 when released.

Lastly, Apple plan to bring more models of the watch to the market (and we’re not talking about space grey here), but looking to increase the price range available  to include a stainless steel watch at $1,099 and the $10,000 gold Edition. Well if you got it, flaunt it!

This is all still a year off at least, unless they release watches at the same rate as iPhones, but still, assesing were this product is, and looking back on what Apple has done with their other products in regards to size and weight, then you to look back on the very first iPhone. A very clunky affair, yet still desirable. People wanted it.

Technology has come some distance since those days, but one can’t help but feel that the Apple Watch in the next 18 months is going break new territory continually in the Smartwatch market.

I for one will be keeping a keen eye on this, and yes it is an expensive price for such a small item, but it really does have a lot to offer.
